tommie talks presents The Impacts of Fast Fashion, a screening and open panel discussion to raise funds for the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre and bring awareness to the devastating impacts of fast fashion.
When: Wednesday 23 October, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Where: The Vanguard, 42 King St, Newtown
Contribution: $10 via The Vanguard
Natalie Shehata is the founder of tommie magazine, the multi-platform destination for creative women with a conscience and the National Retail Eco Stylist for Save the Children Australia. Fashion is an industry that communicates global happenings and tommie magazine investigates the visibility of all women in fashion and provides a platform to drive conversation and fight for a better future for the industry.
Doors will open at 6:00pm and the screening will begin at 6:30pm. Once it finishes at 8:00pm there will be a short break, followed by an open panel discussion led by Natalie, joining her will be Christina Kelly (Made590), Camilla Schippa (The Social Outfit) and Zoe Hinman (SWOP).
